I recently took the concealed carry class with Joe, and I couldn't be more impressed! From start to finish, the course was professional, informative, and engaging. Joe created a comfortable learning environment while covering all the necessary laws, safety protocols, and firearm handling skills required for concealed carry. The hands-on training was excellent, and I left feeling much more confident in my ability to safely and responsibly carry a firearm. JM Training provided me with a greater understanding of my rights, responsibilities and obligations as a responsible gun owner. Joe went into depth about not just the letter of the law but the intent as well. As in all things there are nuances and very few things are as black and white as some would have you believe.
On the range Joe and his team are thorough and stress safety for his students and staff above all else. He showed by example how we as students need to incorporate those same principles every time we handle our personal weapon, especially when there isn’t a trainer to keep us focused.
Personally, I feel that I’m more confident in my current ability and ready to continue to develop both my shooting skills and ingrain the knowledge and mindset to be a fully responsible owner and citizen.

I completed the firearms training with Joe and have also been to a couple self/home defense classes, and highly recommended both! Joe is a great instructor, and the rest of his team are also great to work with. Everyone is very welcoming, and they make it a comfortable environment in the classroom and the range. From the first class I could see Joe’s passion for helping people learn and become more confident in their personal safety skills.
I went into the concealed carry course with very little knowledge and confidence in handling a firearm and left feeling 100% capable of making the right decision in a self-defense situation and using a firearm safely. The course goes very in depth in handgun basics, safety, legalities & more, and Joe does a great job making the class interesting and keeping everyone engaged. I can’t recommend JM Training enough for anyone looking to improve their personal, home, and firearms safety.

I attended Joe Malone’s conceal carry two-day class. I’ve been around guns my whole life. My whole family carries. I was raised all to treat guns as thou are loaded. Even as a child not to point a toy gun at anyone. Joe instilled all of that in class too. He was very informative and was able to answer all of our questions. He demonstrated several times what we needed to do. He then has us practicing before we went to the range. Outdoor range was very nostalgic for me. I am excited to take more classes from him.
