Course Overview
THE WIND STAGE
Wind has no fixed position. It goes where the space is.
Level 1 taught you to change positions. Level 2 is Wind: you stop treating the firing line as a place you stand and start reading the space around you.
Shooting and Moving teaches you to keep your sights working while your feet carry you forward, backward and sideways, and to reload and clear the handgun without stopping to do it.
This is class 01 of 9 on the Handgun Level 2 roadmap. It opens the level, so you should arrive with your Level 1 skills in hand.

Hits on the Move
Build a stable upper body over moving legs so the sights stay readable at a walk and at a push.
Reloads on the Move
Keep the handgun fed without planting your feet or taking your eyes off the problem.
Scan and Move
See where you are going, what is around you and what is behind your target before you get there.

FORWARD, BACKWARD & LATERAL
Safety Brief & Gear Check
How moving changes your grip, your sights and your trigger press
Forward and backward movement: stepping, pace and when to press
Lateral movement and turning into your direction of travel
Reloading and clearing stoppages without stopping
Live-Fire Drills: moving lanes, coached rep by rep
Debrief and your dry-fire homework
Before This Class
Required first: Handgun Level 1 qualification
JM Training members and active students: complete the Shooting and Moving online module first
New to JM Training? You do not need the online modules to attend.
