Course Overview
THE WIND STAGE
Wind takes the shape of whatever it has to pass through.
Level 1 gave you standing, kneeling and prone. Level 2 is about the positions you do not choose: on your back, in a seat, under something, or shooting from your other side.
Unconventional Shooting Positions teaches you to build a workable position from the ground, from a chair and from your support side, and to keep the muzzle safe while you do it.
This is class 06 of 9 on the Handgun Level 2 roadmap. Vehicle work is not part of this class; it is covered separately.
Training Focus
Primary Course Outcomes
From the Ground
Shoot from squatting, supine and urban prone without flagging your own legs and feet.
Support Side
Run the handgun with your support hand only, and with both hands from the other side.
From a Seat
Get the handgun into the fight from a chair without sweeping anyone beside you.
