Course Overview

THE FIRE STAGE

Level 2 was Wind — moving through the space and seeing all of it.

Level 3 is Fire. Fire is controlled violence. It commits, it closes distance and it does not stop until the problem is finished. That's what you're going to learn to do with a handgun.

Up to now the target has stood still for you. Real threats don't. They move, they close, and they force decisions before you're ready.

Level 3 is where you shoot while you and the target are both moving, shoot predictively instead of waiting on your sights, and make use-of-force decisions under shock. Then you put it together in full exercises: fire and maneuver, start to finish.

Across the Alpha and Bravo blocks you'll work the Level 3 skills: moving targets, predictive shooting and the hooded drill, then three exercises that link everything from Level 0 forward. Then you shoot the standard. Complete both blocks with a passing score and you are Level 3 qualified.

Training Focus

Primary Course Outcomes

Hit What Moves

Track a moving target, apply leads and the ambush technique, and make the shot while you are moving too.

Shoot Ahead of the Problem

Predictive shooting: read your sights at speed and build a cadence that acts instead of reacts.

Decide, Then Finish

The hooded drill and full exercises. Assess, decide and act under shock, then close with the target by fire and maneuver.
