1. Warm-Up and Review (30 minutes)
- A quick recap of the previous day’s skills.
- Dry fire drills for reinforcing safety and handling fundamentals.
- Warm-up live fire exercise focusing on accuracy and consistency.
2. Drawing from a Holster (1 hour)
- Safe and efficient draw techniques.
- Reholstering with awareness and precision.
- Practicing under time pressure to simulate real-world scenarios.
3. Shooting on the Move (1.5 hours)
- Techniques for engaging targets while moving forward, backward, and laterally.
- Footwork drills for balance and stability during movement.
- Live-fire scenarios integrating dynamic movement.
- .Use of Cover and Concealment (1 hour)
- Identifying cover versus concealment and using both effectively.
- Practicing behind simulated barriers (e.g., walls, barrels, vehicles).
- Engaging targets while minimizing exposure.
1. Advanced Marksmanship (1.5 hours)
- Engaging multiple targets at varying distances.
- Techniques for transitioning between targets quickly and accurately.
- Shooting at unknown distances, with a focus on target acquisition and accuracy.
2. Test 3: Stress Test Obstacle Course (1.5 hours)
Obstacle Course Details (1 mile in total):
- 4 shooting stations placed at every 0.25 miles.
- Participants will run or jog between stations, simulating physical stress.
Obstacles include:
- Station 1: Crawl under a low net (25 feet) before engaging targets at 15 yards.
- Station 2: Climb over a 6-foot wall, then shoot multiple targets at varying distances (10–30 yards).
- Station 3: Carry a 50-pound sandbag 50 yards before engaging steel targets at 20 yards.
- Station 4: Navigate through a zig-zag cone course while dragging a sled, then engage moving targets.
Scoring:
- Each station has a set number of points based on accuracy and completion time.
3. Introduction to Low-Light Shooting (1 hour)
- Basics of shooting in low-light or no-light conditions.
- Proper flashlight techniques: Harries technique, FBI technique, and Neck index technique.
- Practical drills to simulate low-light engagements with live fire.
