Handgun Level 0 – Speed Shooting

A 3-hour intro to speed shooting with a red dot pistol in Bourbonnais, IL. Build speed and accuracy under pressure. Some firearms experience required.

Ready to stop shooting slow and start shooting fast? This isn't your typical day at the range. Our Intro to Speed Shooting with a Red Dot is a fast-paced, 3-hour course built to take shooters who already know their way around a firearm and push them to the next level — driving the gun faster, tracking the dot, and putting accurate rounds on target under pressure.

If you've made the switch to a red dot optic (or you're ready to get serious with one), this is where you learn to actually run it. You'll leave with cleaner draws, faster splits, and a real understanding of how to balance speed and accuracy when the clock is running.

Who Should Take this Course?

This is an intermediate course. You must have some prior experience with firearms and be comfortable safely handling a pistol and drawing from a holster.

If you're brand new to shooting, start with our Handgun Level 0 (H0-A&B) course first — then come back and let us take you to the next level.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Just took my 3hr renewal class for my ccl. I want to say this is probably the best class that I have went through. Instructors had up to date knowledge of the laws in illinois. And were willing to take the time with each individual to help them achieve success.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I took a 3-hour 1:1 session with J. He taught me how to disassemble a firearm, clean it, and do a proper holster draw. Great instruction.

Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I recently completed the three-hour Illinois Concealed Carry renewal class with Jimmy Santoianni and had a great experience. The class was very well organized, informative, and genuinely enjoyable. Jimmy is an excellent instructor -knowledgeable, engaging, and funny, while still keeping the material focused and professional.

The shooting qualification at the nearby range was also very well managed, with clear instructions and an appropriate emphasis on safety throughout.

Overall, a very positive experience and an easy recommendation for anyone needing to complete their Illinois CCL renewal training.

The instructor was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. They kept the class engaging, interactive, and even made it fun, which made the time fly by. You can tell they have a lot of experience and genuinely care about making sure everyone leaves with a better understanding of firearm safety and the law. I highly recommend this class to anyone needing to renew their concealed carry permit or looking to refresh their knowledge.
