Course Overview
THE EARTH STAGE
Earth is the ground everything else is built on. Solid. Unmoving. Earned one repetition at a time.
A rifle makes it easy to hit up close, and that hides a lot of bad habits. Stretch the distance or add a little pressure and those habits show up fast.
Basic Marksmanship builds the process every other JM Training rifle class assumes you already have: a stable position, sight alignment and sight picture, breathing and a clean trigger press.
This is class 03 on the Rifle Level 0 roadmap. It follows Rifle Set Up, so you should arrive with a rifle that is set up and zeroed.

Primary Course Outcomes
A Stable Position
Build a position that supports the rifle with bone and balance, and rebuild it the same way every time.
Sights and Breathing
Sight alignment, sight picture and breath control, so the rifle is steady when the shot breaks.
A Clean Trigger Press
Press straight to the rear without disturbing the sights, follow through, and reset for the next shot.
