Course Overview
THE EARTH STAGE
Earth is the ground everything else is built on. That ground has to hold when the lights go out.
Daylight range time leaves a gap. Low light changes how you see your sights, how you find a target and how sure you are of what it is.
In this class you'll shoot our indoor range with the lights down. You'll learn to run a handheld light with your handgun, identify your target before you press the trigger, and keep your fundamentals together when you can't see them.
This is class 09 on the Handgun Level 0 roadmap, the last skill class before Competition Night and your qualification.

Training Focus
Primary Course Outcomes
See Your Sights in the Dark
What changes when the light drops, and how to keep a usable sight picture anyway.
Run a Light and a Gun
Handheld flashlight techniques that let you light the target and still make the shot.
Identify Before You Shoot
